At 9Trees, we are thrilled to announce the exciting new landowner offering, expanding our horizons to embrace a more accessible and diverse range of projects.

We have listened to your feedback and are committed to providing you with trees, stakes, and guards to nurture your vision for sustainable woodlands.

We are now open to a wider range of projects, including Hedgerows, Agroforestry, and sustainable woodlands for the future. Embracing this broadened range allows us to make a positive impact on a wider scale, planting 9- 9000 trees in every county in the UK.
Share your plans with us, and we'll tailor a bespoke solution for your site. Our flexible approach ensures that every project receives the attention and care it deserves or a hands off approach.
We are eager to support your initiatives further. In addition to our funding, you can use other sources, and we will top up funding as long as we can witness its role in creating a flourishing woodland.
For smaller sites, we have simplified our requirements, making ecological surveys unnecessary. Our new contract, with ‘Tree law’, ensures clarity and transparency throughout the journey.
9Trees dedication extends far beyond just planting trees. We handle every aspect, including surveys, maps, and species selection. Our team will visit your site for 50 years to provide support, ensuring the growth and vitality of your woodland.
To celebrate the journey together, we encourage you to share annual photographic evidence of your woodland's progress, forming a cherished record of your contribution to the environment, meaning we can visit less and leave you to your custodianship of your land.
For seamless coordination, we require your grid reference to create a map of your site for our office's use, further enhancing our ability to nurture your woodland.

What happens next?

Once the site is ready, and a formal agreement has been created between 9Trees and the landowner, we deliver all the trees, stakes and guards.

You carry out the planting (We can do planting through ‘The ORIGINAL 9Trees way’ below).

We have the right to visit the Trees / woodland for 50 years, and depending on the Agreement we may replace any trees that fail in the first 2 years.

Our work is funded by subscribers - individuals or organisations - who sign up to 9Trees and pay one off donations or a monthly or an annual subscription so that we can buy trees for them to help balance part of their carbon footprint.

Because their subscription is intended to balance 1 tonne of carbon for each tree they fund, we work hard to maintain each tree for at least 50 years to make sure that it has the opportunity to lock-up as much carbon as it can.

We need the precise location of the sites, however we do not divulge this info to our sponsors, however photographic evidence must be sent or collected annually for our records and updates on our website, social media and our newsletter.

The income from the subscriptions allows us to plant trees on land like yours; the land remains yours but the trees will belong to the people that signed up and have paid for them. If you require replacement trees you simply apply.

One of our USP’s is that ‘We will not just plant the trees and ‘walk away’.’ We ensure you are planting the right tree in the right place at the correct time of year.

Our background is in nature conservation and we want to create a network of sustainable and biodiverse woodlands across the UK that are paid for by people & companies all over the UK.
