๐ณ Grow Slow, Grow Beautiful - Spring
In this Newsletter you will read about our new woodlands, new partners, volunteer days, festivals and our plans for the year ahead. Meet our new Business Development Manager and Job opportunities to join the 9Trees team.
But first we just wanted to show you a great pic from last year - Erika Cunningham (Mikes Mum) enjoying the Quad with Landowner Geoff in Oct 2025 - Franklin Wood, near Rhayader was our First Woodland we planted!
9Trees was started in 2019 with Permaculture principles and a holistic organisation bringing together landowners, individuals and businesses to create biodiverse woodlands across the UK. 9Trees is a โGrow Slow. Grow Beautifulโ organisation.
In the coming months you will see how we have grown, changed and our hopes for the future and continue to create meaningful work in the countryside sector and spaces for connection to nature and wellbeing.
We are so happy that spring is here, Just a few weeks left to plant the final trees and then we embark on the next season of planting, partnerships and progress.
We now care for 17 sites across 10 counties in the UK, with projects in Ireland and Scotland on the horizon.
Could your county be next? Word of mouth helps us grow ๐ฑ

๐ Third Wood, Chew Magna (Bristol/Somerset)
4,000 trees over 2โ3 years (1,250 already planted).
Species include sweet chestnut, alder, oak, hazel and hornbeam.
Following major losses from the 2025 drought, we are replacing 4,000 failed trees and managing part of the site to safeguard sponsored trees.
Although within a Woodland Carbon Code scheme, this area will not be sold as carbon credits โ offering landowners an alternative approach beyond government schemes.
Team planting and maintenance days are available via our events page.
